- Committee on Training and Recording of Ministers
The
Training And Recording Library
The Committee provides
the support and oversees the training of candidate in the Recording
Process. This is accomplished through individual work with candidates,
workshops and other experiences. The committee is charged with
evaluating the progress and recommending to Ministry and Counsel of
Yearly Meeting when the requirements are met.
- Committee on Evangelism, Church Extension and Pastoral Care
ECEPC
committee is charged with seeking ways to do evangelism and encourage
meetings to reach out to new people. They are charged with being
available for pastoral care as needed by the pastors of the Yearly
Meeting. They sponsor an annual retreat for Ministers and Mates,
occasional workshops and seminars. Some of the requested funds are
made available for ministers seeking to further their education
through a ministry development scholarship.

Board on Christian Outreach
Board on Christian Educational Concerns
With its sub committees for
Children, Camping and Youth this board seeks to provide quality
children’s programs at the yearly meeting sessions, a camping
experience for youth in the summer at Quaker Knoll, an on going program
for youth across the yearly meeting. This board is oversight board for
The Director of Youth Ministries.
Board on Christian Concerns for Peace & Society
This board seeks to keep before
us the Peace testimony, has in the past year held workshops on various
aspects of peace, non-violence and related topics. They are planning to
hold several more over the next few months. They support representation
to Friends Committee on National Legislation and the American Friends
Service Committee. They are currently reviewing and preparing
information on conscientious objectors status and process for draft age
young men.

- Yearly Meeting Trustees
- Quaker Knoll Camp Board
Quaker
Knoll Camp Board is charged with the responsibility of maintaining,
improving and providing a facility where people of all ages can
experience a camping or retreat setting. Many of the Monthly Meetings
use the facilities for their activities. The Quaker Knoll house is
frequently used for workshops, family reunions and overnight housing
for visiting Friends. Each summer Educational Concerns Board holds the
annual youth camps here.
- Historical Materials
Support for Wilmington College Quaker
Collection. Provides subscriptions to several Quaker publications for
the Archives.
Finance & Stewardship Committee
The
Finance and Stewardship Committee works to promote stewardship within
the Yearly Meeting. Review budget request from boards and committees
and establish the annual Yearly Meeting Budget. Review the income for
each given year and establishes the allocations to each board and
committee of the Yearly Meeting. Give general oversight of the
treasurer and bookkeeping.

Ministry Events 2007 - 2008 (Open to Yearly Meeting as well)
The
College Committee seeks to maintain and improve our relationship with
Wilmington College. They do this by meeting with various college
personnel, sharing concerns and information. They have held two
events for the last several years, a new student reception and a
Wilmington College, Wilmington Yearly Meeting Spring Dinner.
